Tell us a little bit about yourself (family, job, sports, interests, etc.).
I am a Business Analyst for a Financial company. I am Getting Married in the end of October and I am a diehard Jets fan unfortunately
What was your fitness routine before CrossFit?
Lifting weights three times a week and cardio (tread mill and Elliptical)
Why did you start doing CrossFit?
I needed to push myself harder, and I knew I could not do it myself
What were your thoughts after your first CrossFit workout?
I knew I was slacking but I didn’t realize how out of shape or how much better shape I could be in. I was having trouble finishing a 10 minute work out
What were your goals when joining CrossFit Steam and have you achieved them?
Cut weight and get in better shape. When I RX every work out I will have achieved my goals.
Has CrossFit affected your life outside the box? How so?
It is addicting and I feel I need to keep coming to get in better shape. Every work out that I finish I feel great and can’t wait for more.
How would you describe your experience at CrossFit Steam?
Everybody is really nice and I like how everyone pushes each other to the max. Thanks to all the coaches and vocal CrossFit friends.
How has CrossFit differed from any other training you’ve done in the past?
Everyone is doing the same workout and feels what you are feeling so there is no excuses.
What advice would you give to a newbie just joining CrossFit Steam?
Stick with it and don’t give up. Try to get better and stronger every time and try to come as much as possible.

I am a volunteer fire fighter in the Lyndhurst fire department.
